BrownTrout has been one of the largest importers of fine printing from Asia for twenty years. In 1996 Marc Brown co-founded calendars.com, the market leader in online calendar sales. In addition, he helped establish BrownTrout companies in the UK, Australia, Canada, and Mexico. All of these companies are leaders in their markets. In 2012 Mr Brown retired from active management of BrownTrout and is now focused on new business opportunities. He lives in San Francisco.
